Having grown up catching frogs, Jamie prefers rock climbing to elevators and fishing to Whole Foods. He spent the past few years sleeping on the ground helping others derive inspiration and action from introspection and opportunity. He is a listener, a facilitator, a teacher, and a student. Equally fascinated by the wilderness within and the wilderness of Manhattan he seeks to ask the questions others are afraid to ask, or don’t think to ask.
Jamie is an independent leadership consultant, a dormant designer and photographer, and an instructor for the National Outdoor Leadership School (NOLS). As an instructor for NOLS Professional Training Jamie teaches risk management and hard skills such as mountaineering and climbing. He also designs leadership progressions and provides individualized coaching for clients including: Kellogg, Wharton, and the United States Naval Academy.
He holds a B.A. from Williams College.
